36 Lion Truimph At Maiden Edition Of Tawio & Kehinde U-13 Football Tourney.

The first edition of the Taiwo & Kehinde Abe under 13 football competition took place at the Abete playing ground in Iwaya, Yaba Lagos – Nigeria, with the main aim to encourage and develop grassroots football. The event commenced on the 1st of July, 2017 with eight grassroots teams keenly competing for the gold medals and trophy. The final tourney was played on Sunday the 30th of July, 2017. It was between 36 Lion FC (mainland) and Precil Sports Academy.
36 Lion Fc made a bright start to the game, putting their opponents under immense pressure from the first minutes of the match.  However, sensational prodigy, Kabiru Olanrewaju, registered the first goal at 24th minutes for the Lions, Precil Sports Academy responded with a goal to bring the game back to life, making the score line 1-1 at first half.
The second stanza of the game commenced with similar tempo like the first period, but the lions were more cautious and crafty in the defence and midfield. Saoban Adefila set-up a perfect free kick to restore the lead for lions. Precil Fc hit back with a goal to bring the match more interesting. The centre referee sounded the final whistle to end the game at 2-2 in the 90 minute, forcing the en­counter to be decided by extra time. 
36 Lion's fans had reasons to jubilate at extra time when Olarenwaju broke the jinx. making the goal margin 3-2. It was a strike that left the goalie rooted to the spot.
